Redefining Sound

The Strategy: Education, Elevation, and Experience

The core objective was to produce marketing collateral that would educate homeowners and influence the key decision-makers: luxury home builders, home theater consultants, and architects.

Conceptually, the piece needed to match the pedigree of other marketing materials for the luxury home and interior design markets.

Project 1
The Homeowner Brochure: A Lookbook for Living

  • Target Audience: High-end homeowners and the professionals who serve them.

  • Solution: Develop a premium brochure that looked less like a technical product catalog and more like a luxury trend or lookbook. The design was conceptually aligned with the high pedigree of interior design and luxury home market materials.

  • Core Concept: The messaging positioned pre-construction specification of sound control as essential to achieving a superior home experience—encouraging engagement before the first brick is laid.

  • Messaging: The content was clean, well-organized, and focused entirely on the homeowner’s needs and desired lifestyle. This was reinforced through compelling client stories that made the invisible benefits of sound control tangible and relatable.

Engaging home owners and builders to see the value in specifying before the first brick is laid results in a better home experience.

Project 2
B2b Consultant Tools: Showcasing the Invisible

Acoustic Brochure for Architectural & Interiors:
Target Audience: Architects, Acoustical Consultants, and Engineers.

A high-end tool designed to help consultants present products within the context of actual living spaces. It streamlined technical information, making it easier to navigate for a more impactful presentation to the end-user.

Project 3
Addressing Pain points quickly

After reviewing the product, we discovered a pain point around the specification of the products for commercial submission. We addressed this with a small app project where engineers provided specifications and installation instructions.

Results have elevated the brand and increased specifications and profits.

Project 4
Home Noise Workbook:

To overcome the difficulty of visualizing sound control (which is often constructed inside the wall), this workbook was created. It first illustrates how sound travels through a home, then provides consultants with clear product solutions to treat specific noise issues and vastly reduce sound vibration. This tool emphasized the critical importance of pre-construction planning for success

Project 5
UI/UX Enhancements.

After a prior design iteration, I was brought in to add some visual storytelling. The solution was to allow the user to drill down to the specific details and compare features.  This project’s turnaround was 3 weeks.

Visuals and content you can hear

It can be a challenge to articulate sound visually, you have to get the user to think of sound in a instant.
From concept to completion these ads provided impact to the knowledge-based audience.
